Escorting NPCs in quests - improve it.
The majority of missions or quests where you have to escort an NPC through an area are fine.
Because you can either clear the area first, or they arent walking through a location heaving with lvl22-28 mobs.
But please Anet, when you create quests or mission, where you need to escort someone through an area full of very powerfull mobs;
DONT GIVE THE NPC THE ABILITY TO JUST WALK OFF WITHOUT YOU.
Either;
1) Make them follow the group and give us a green star to walk to.
2) Make them not move forward if we dont follow.
Why?
Because more often then not this happens.
You have an NPC moving through, for instance, the realm of torment. A highly mobbed area.
The NPC moves towards a group, agros it.
We then have to fight it. Meanwhile the NPC walks off, and dissapears from the map view. We're still fighting a group, when we notice the NPC loosing health somewhere, unseen to us.
The quest fails.
As I said. When making these quests. DONT let the NPC walk off without us. DONT let it walk ahead and disapear, while we're fighting a group we cant just ignore.
Its not exactly hard to do, because you've done it in earlier quests where the NPC refuses to move ahead if your not with them.
